FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q.  What is the roach food paste formula?
A.  Food paste formula is a revolutionary breakthrough improvement in the use of the technical chemicals, Boric Acid powder, in a new food paste form.

Q.  Why is the food paste better than conventional treatment?
A.  The food provides continuous feeding, has NO repellents, odors or fumes - roaches will no longer travel to other apartments to escape the chemicals used during the conventional treatments.

Q.  Are there special preparations necessary prior to the application?
A.  NO, we do NOT ask residents or seniors to remove anything from their cabinets or closets - we work around the normal habits of people. This convenience is one of the big advantages of using the roach food paste.

Q.  Does the food paste formula contain material which attracts the roach to the product?
A.  YES. The 66.7% inert ingredients are attractants. Roaches are drawn to the smell of the food. They will come out of their nesting area, from behind cabinets, etc. to begin eating the food paste within minutes after the application of the product.

Q.  How long does it take to incapacitate a roach after eating?
A.  Usually (5) five hours, depending on the type of roach.

Q.  Why would you see more roaches after application?
A.  Roaches are drawn to the food. After eating on the food paste to their satisfaction, they may become disoriented and wander, however, most of the roaches will find their way back to the nest to die.

Q.  Can the food paste be used in food processing areas?
A.  YES. The food paste can be used in the kitchen. The paste is used in cracks, crevices, and spot treatments.

Q.  Do roaches prefer the food paste over other available food sources?
A.  YES. There is evidence from field studies that roaches preferred the paste over readily available foods.

Q.  Can I bomb or spray insecticides when I see roaches?
A.  NO. Roaches will not be attracted to the smell of the food paste if chemicals are sprayed and settle on the food paste. Please DO NOT BOMB OR SPRAY after the food paste has been applied. Please keep a fly swatter ready for use in the area where roaches are seen.

Q.  Is the food paste harmful to people suffering from asthma or lung disease?
A.  NO. The inhalation is 0%

Q.  If the food paste hardens, will the roaches still be attracted and feed on it?
A.  YES. The paste will remain effective.
